CSC blog of my gen II build up
I'm going to try and use our website blog as a means to write about my new project in progress. It's a gen II Polaris that I'm going to stretch out to a 136" and put in a 680 Ultra triple motor into it. Hope fully I'll keep up with the writing and maybe some pics too. Todd CSC VP.

First thing I had to do was get rid of that ugly looking purple heads they had on the stock motor. The snowmobile has a red hood so I painted the heads red. Looks much better!

Man, it's been a long time since I've been on here. I picked up some Polaris side hiller 2 skis to put on the project. I removed the old front motor mount on the mag side. I welded up a new mount and mounted it in place. I moved the rear motor mount in line with the front one and test fitted the motor. I decided to move over the motor strap holes to get the primary and secondary clutches a little more in line. The stock steering post wouldn't work so I put in an XCR steering post after adding 3" to its length. I test fitted the motor and it fits nice. Now I have to figure out my coolant and oil bottle locations in the chassis. This is going to be fun because I'm going from the twin to the triple motor. I also need to figure out the coolant hose routing. Good thing I've got a whole summer to get it figured out. Made a little riser for the handle bars that should bring them straight up a little bit. That's about it for now.

Well it has been for ever since I placed something on this blog. I hate to say it but I think that blogs are going to fade away with the formation of groups on social networking sites like face book. So, because of the slow response of people to our blog we have created a facebook group called Charlevoix Snowmobile Club. If you would like to stumble on over there and look at it that would be cool. We hope to hear from you either way. We would like to keep i touch with our fellow snowmobilers in every way we can.
